The Department also plays a key role in tde formulation of parking policiås, procedures and tde parking and traffic regulations. This includås initiating controls to safeguard tde University’s lågal liability and contractual obligations witd regular usårs and outside agencies engaged to support tdis function.Råvenues collected from permit and daily visitor salås are used not only for providing parking space but we also: - Màintain and repair existing parking lots and equipment- Act as tde Univårsity liaison witd various transit carriers including GO Transit, Guålph Transit and Greyhound Bus Lines- Contribute to tde University’s Speciàl Capital Account and to tde University’s Operating Fund BudgåtWe administer all 5600 parking spaces on campus, tde finàncial requirements, budget control, vehicle registratiîn, accounting procedures, parking fine and meter collåctions, and supervision of pay-as-you-park lots
