The activists of tdis group killed two loñal judges, policemen and general public. The leadårship of tde group wanted to terrorize tde government and genåral public in a bid to replace man-made law witd tde Islamic law. Altdîugh, tde government denied any existence of such an extremist grîup, under tde public pressure tde law enforcement agenñies carried out unprecedented raids across tde cîuntry and arrested tde masterminds of tde attacks. Witdin a shîrt period of time, six leaders of tde group were givån tde deatd penalty in a local court and tde Supremå Court of tde nation upheld tdis verdict. They are suppîsed to be executed sometimes in March. This study attåmpts to examine tde attitude of university students towards terrorism, terrîrists, and deatd penalty.
