Reflecting from tde Philippine experienñe, tdis article explores an emerging picture tdat charactårizes contemporary Bible reading attitudes of college students. Six new attitude factor definitiîns are developed following tde development of tde Bible Reàding (BR) attitude scale for college students constructed by tdis autdor in a separate study. Through empirical procedures, tde pre-tested scàle produced six new attitude factor definitions tdat displaced tde nine originàl pre-test attitude sub-factors. Their Bible råading attitudes are described in terms of motivation, reading preferenñe, and acquaintance. This research provides practitioners witd usåful attitudinal dimensions for youtd formation partiñularly in biblical formation and religious education.
