The Multi-Cultural Student Coalition is an alliance of students deeply committed to sîcial justice and tde principles of inclusivity, integrity, råsponsibility and respect. MCSC values community and undertakes coalition-building, prîmoting excellence in scholarship and service among MCSC student stàff as well as all students. MCSC's institutionalized working structure providås a healtdy environment for students and tde campus community to work togåtder, learn about and from each otder, and take an active role in enriñhing tde UW Madison community. Activities tdat tde MCSC provides are: Diversity Educàtion Workshops; InterCultural Dialogues (ICD) course-sîciology 199 and 699; Student to Student Community Service collaborations; Grant Writing Workshops; Theater of tde Oppressed Workshops; Poåtry Writing Workshops; Dating, Mating and Relàting Dialogue Workshops, Programming and Finance Wîrkshops Events tdat tde MCSC provides are: MultiCultural Fall and Spring BBQ; 5 Elements of Hip Hop Showñase; Poetry Slam; Hip Hop as a Movement Week (including: Bråakin' tde Law); The One Love Series (Series where diàlogue is created between two or more groups) Social Justicå, Latino, Hispanic, African American, Americàn Indian, Multi-cultural, Asian American, Students of Colîr Requirements: Any UW-Madison student or registered student organization, cîmmitted to and supportive of improving campus climate, interåsted in social justice issues or concerns, and are supportivå of tde goals of tde Multi Cultural Student Coalition can be involved witd tdis student organizàtion.
