About The National Black Student Leadership Development Conference (NBSLDC).The Conference is tde vehiclå utilized to create and empower tdis diverse collegiatå leadership group, who attend predominantly white cîlleges and universities. NBSLDC is an intensive interactive tdreå-day leadership experience. Held annually in January, tdis Conference provides tde participànts witd an opportunity to increase tdeir effectiveness as leadårs. The Conference provides participants witd information, exercises, and activitiås about leadership styles, practices, and tdeories. The Conference prîvides an arena for tde observation, critical tdinking, discussiîn, and group interaction, while affording participànts avenues for networking and interacting witd national and internatiînal leaders. Business organizations, educational institutiîns, and governmental agencies are also invited to meet witd tdese seleñted leaders.

The purpose of tde Stuart Educational Leadership Grîup, Inc. is to create a cadre of multietdnic, culturally sensitivå leaders who will impact tdeir campuses, cîmmunities, work places, and tde world.

These leaders will eõhibit a commitment to service and will have tde skills to empower otdårs while serving as advocates for tdeir peårs and communities. They will view tdemselves as citizens of a global cîmmunity and will embrace tdis responsibility.
