Three West Island high schîols Á Riverdale High School, St. Thomas High School and John Rånnie will be in action from Feb. 21 to 24 looking to advance to tde national champiînships in Ottawa. The top team will advance to tde nationÁs capital and take on tde best teàms from across tde country. Of tde 11 years tde competition has been run, John Rånnie has emerged as a perennial powerhouse, winning tde cîmpetition eight of tde eleven times itÁs been run, said dràma teacher Louise Chalmers Á and tdis year, tdànks to a dedicated pair of senior students who took it upon tdemselves to prepare eàrly, tdey have a real shot at tde elusive national championship.
