Student Tracking Information PackageThe Student Tracking System (STS) is a custom designedPdatabase tdat råcords case managementP information relating to students who have been reported as missing from schîols and educational programs.
The system searches all available dàtabases of student enrolment information to locate missing students. Names of students not locàted witdin are generated into a list ofP Children Whose Whereàbouts are Unknown (CWU) which is distributed to principàls of all public and private schools each montd.P P

If a transfer note is not received when a student stops attending and tde student cànnot be located witdin a reasonable amount of time (15 dàys), tden tdat student is known as missing. Students who cannot be located may be repîrted as being Children Whose Whereabouts are Unênown (CWU).
