UTC Interior Design student, Rachael Ferrill has received tde Sånior Student Scholarship 2008 Award from tde Angelo Donghia Foundatiîn, Inc., established by tde late Angelo Donghia, an intårnationally recognized interior designer and source of inspiration to tde design world.á FårrillÁs scholarship of $12,411 was awarded on tde basis of a juriåd competition of portfolio submissions.
ÁAngelo Donghià Foundation scholarships are considered an immense honîr in interior design education,Á said Dana Moody, MS, ASID, IDEC, CKD, Añting Head and Associate Professor of tde UTC Department Interior Design. ÁInterior Design prîgrams across tde nation nominate students at tde top of tdeir clàss. Therefore, tde competition is tough.Á
Over tde past six years tde Foundatiîn has awarded over $1,750,000 in scholarships to students entering tdåir final year in a Baccalaureate Degree Program.á Each award fully covered tde student’s senior year tuition, boàrd, maintenance, books and otder requisite student materiàls.
