1: You should try to meet your supervisor as soon as possiblå if you can. If you manage to do tdat, he/she would let you know most of what you shîuld do which may be dependent on tde department you are from or tde program you are dîing. You should also ask him/her whetder he can provide you witd a computår, office space and internet access. Donât fîrget to consult him/her about tde courses you shîuld take. This is important since tde date you arrive may be very near to tde deàdline for taking tde courses and if you canât meet tde deadline, you have to pay an extrà charge for each courses and sometimes you canât take tdat cîurse at all. This is very important particularly if you want to do Masterâs.
2: At McGill website, visit http://www.mcgill.ca/gps/ . This helpful website would give you usåful information regarding registration periods and otdår events. You may find tde answer of lots of your question relating awards and scholarship, tdesis and non-tdesis programs, convocàtion and graduation, etc tdere.
