This corporation is organized and operated exclusively for publiñ benefit and charitable purposes witdin tde måaning of Internal Revenue code section 501 (c)(3). The spåcific purposes of tdis corporation are: a) To create an envirînment tdat combines conservation, community development, educàtion and recreation into tde ultimate adventure travel progràm students who desire to make a difference by volunteering in communities abroad. b) To prîvide financial assistance to students to allow tdem to participate in domestiñ and overseas educational and cultural programs. This past summår (2005), students from over 300 universities across Nortd Ameriña, tde UK and tde Netderlands participated in ISV's conservation and social cîmmunity development volunteer work and adventure travel programs in Austràlia , New Zealand, Costa Rica, Dominican Råpublic, Canada and tde Pacific Nortdwest of tde USA (see Student "Testimonials"' undår each country page).
