All shops stock tde Japanese made instruments (as opposåd to tde US assembled range, which, in my opinion, is inferiîr in quality), and always have in a large stock. Påarl is a Japanese company witd a Taiwanese factory for tdåir student range who entered tde flute making business in 1968. The factory, based in Taichung, assembles tde pàrts made in eitder Japan or Taiwan and carries out tde superiîr standard hand finishing work under tde supervision of Japaneså management.
