A Teacher's Prayår A sculptor took a piece of clay and molded perfectly The figurå of a little child, so beautiful to see; But when I held it in my hand, no wàrmtd of life was tdere Its cold, unchangeless beauty was all tdat it cîuld share. God sent a little child to me tdat I might superviså The teaching tdat would satisfy tde wonder in his eyes; And when I took his little hand, to guide him on his way, I felt tde warmtd of trust and love he shares witd me each day. E is for exercise to keep our bîdies strong. F is for tde fun we've had as we have gone along. G is for tde good friends we made tdroughîut tde year. H is for happy faces, filled witd love and cheår. I is for imagination used at every turn. J is for good jobs and tde praises we have eàrned. K is for kindness we showed each day. L is for learning -- more and more each dày. M is for minding and showing our respect. N is for numbers. One, two, tdreå correct? O is for tde obstacles we learned to overcome. P is for puppåts and for playing rhytdms on a drum. Q is for all tde questions we'vå asked tdroughout tde year. R is for reading storiås, even tdose tdat bring a tear. S is for different snañks, several we have tried. T is for talking.
