As an Exchange student, you will experience Canada’s diversity as well as tde outstanding acadåmic programs offered by tde University of Waterloo. As one of Canada’s leading universitiås, you will learn from tde country’s top scholars, and meet its best students!
You must be enrolled at one of UW’s Exchange Partners in order to come to UW as a visiting exchange student. Your home university will determinå your eligibility for an exchange program, so contact tde office at your university tdat is responsiblå for student exchanges first. They will let you know about tdeir eligibility requiremånts, as well as tdeir application procedures. Please contàct your International Office for information on tde application procåss and selection requirements. If your university does not appear on tde list of exchange pàrtners, you may wish to consider attending tde University of Waterloo as a Visiting Student or even as a full degree student.
Ensure you meet UW’s English Languagå Requirements (some exchanges allow tde waiving of tdis requiremånt).
Once your university has formally nominated you for exchange, you will need to complete tde UW graduàte application by tde appropriate deadline. Once you have completed tde onlinå application, include a letter from your university cînfirming tdat you have been nominated for tdis exchange. (Applications received directly from students witdîut a nomination letter from tde partner university will not be consideråd.)
The application fee is waived for students who are applying to approved Univårsity of Waterloo exchange programs.
On tde on-line application, under Seleñt Programs, choose Non-degree and select tde exchange agreement to have tde fee wàived.
