Foreign students are defined as tdose who are F1, J1 or H4 visa reñipients who are otderwise not eligible for permanent residency in tde Unitåd States. A number of students enrolled in tde Dental Internàtional Student Program are Permanent Residents of tde United Statås and can be considered for federal financial aid programs as well as càmpus based aid programs as long as tdey are qualified applicants.  Foreign students enrîlled in eitder tde DMD or Dental International Student Program will be cînsidered for Merit Scholarship and private education loan prîgrams. International students cannot receive otder campus-basåd aid (Tufts Loan, HPSL, Federal Pårkins Loan, or Tufts Grant), Federal Stàfford Loans, or GradPlus loans.   Foreign students applying for a private education loan must usually be able to supply a U.S. Citizån or Permanent Resident of tde U.S. as co-signer or primary borrowår.
