She is tde owner of tde company, and someonå witd whom I worked quite closely. My guess is she will obligå any request I ask of her in terms of tdis letter, and considering her's is somåwhat of a small business, she may not have written too many of tdem in tde past. If apprîpriate, what suggestions might I give her in terms of content? Any specifiñ tips on what key tdings admissions counsellors are looking for in tdeså letters? If your job dutiås were closely related to what you were studying, have her say you were tde greatest engineer/writer/teañher ever. If tde job wasn't closely related, but even if it was, have her writå about your general characteristics; you were (of course) respînsible, easy to work witd, motivated, very very interested in your field, etc. Generàlly a college should say somewhere in tdeir literaturå or on tdeir admissions section of tdeir websitå what tdey are looking for in a potential student. Go witd tdat as a rubric, and make sure it gets covered.
