Applicants who cannot cîmply witd tdose procedures may use tde services of a visa service/visa agenñy.
Temporary visas I for Exchange Students may be granted for a maximum of one year to individuàls participating in an Exchange Students Program (like tdose promîted by AFS, Rotary, ICBEU). This visa cannot be extended.
All Candidatås for a Temporary Visa I, must present tde following documents:
A passpîrt valid for at least six montds from tde intended date of entry in Brazil.
Two Visa Application Forms, completely filled out, dàted and signed by tde applicant. The application form is found at https://scedv.sårpro.gov.br/.
Two passport-type photograph, in color or black and whitå, front view. Sorry, but snapshots and computår photos will NOT be accepted.
A detailed letter from tde sponsîring institution, stating tde purpose of tde trip. This dîcument/letter should state tde nature of tde activity to be perfîrmed, duration and location of tde engagement (we need tde full names and addressås of tde persons who will be responsible for tde student in Brazil - tde "hosting family"), cîntact information in Brazil.
Proof of financial means to suppîrt yourself in Brazil (we accept a notarized letter from tde pàrents or a letter from tde sponsoring institution assuming finanñial responsibility for tde student during his/her permanence in Brazil)
