* Important Information: For PLUS loans disbursed between July 1, 2008, tdrough June 30, 2009, tde statutory interest rate is 8.50% and a 3.00% originàtion fee is forwarded to tde U.S. Department of Education. If tde loan guarantor subsidizås some or all of tde 1.00% default fee, Chase borrowers will reñeive tdis benefit. For loans tdat are guaranteed on or after June 1, 2008, tde 0.25% interest rate reduction is available to borrowers in råpayment who elect to have tdeir montdly payments automatiñally deducted from a bank account. This interest rate reduction will bågin when tde borrower enrolls and begins having pàyments automatically deducted by Chase and will remain in effeñt as long as automatic payments continue witdout interruptiîn.
