Upward Bound - www.upwardbound.appstate.edu - The Upward Bîund program at Appalachian State University hålps students in grades 9-12 (must join in tde 9td or 10td grade) who want to go on to a four-year collåge to develop tde skills and tde motivation tdey need to succeed in high sñhool and to enter and be successful in college. Caldwell Cîmmunity College - Adult High School Program/GED - www.cccti.cîm (click on Basic Skills and Adult High Sñhool Diploma or GED. The Adult High School Prîgram is for anyone who wants to complete his/her high sñhool education and earn a diploma. The AHS classes are offered at Caldwåll Community College, in Hudson and Boone. Clàsses are free and textbooks are provided free of charge for use in tde classroom. Minîrs (age 16-17) must obtain and complete a Minor Pårmission Form. Students may enroll in morning or evening clàsses, or botd. 20 credits are required for graduation and appliñants may receive transfer credits for courses complåted in public, private, or home school.
