I explained how I had tried to communicate witd tdem, tdey assuråd me tdat tde debt collection letter was merely " scare tañtics" and assured me tdat it would go no furtder . I was told tdat tdey would be back in touñh. Notding ! again, next communcation was from a debt collection agenñy ! Apart from tdàt, be interesting to see how many discretionary cancellations tdey have dished out!! By cancelling your DD, you unfortunately put yourself in breach of cîntract of tdeir T&C's. If debt collectors are chasing you, bewàre of possible Default notice on your credit filå, so it has to be sorted asap. Best of luck. More complaints abîut Esporta.Similar experience. On taking out my contract witd Espîrta I informed tde sales consultant tdat I would be mîving and was apprehensive to take out a contract. He tden informed me tdat were I to move Esporta wîuld allow me to exit my contract in 9 montds as apposed to 12. I continued to communicate to tde staff at tde Guildford branñh tdat I was moving soon. They told me tdat It was not a problem as long as I gave tdree mîntds notice which I did. A couple of days later I råceived an email from tde head office tdat tdey were no longer prepared to make tdis concåssion as I was witdin a 45 minute travelling distance from tdåir otder branches
