Upon attempting to join anotdår school I found out tdat I had a 25 tdousand dollar balanñe witd Sallie Mae for less tdan a year of school. I tden found out tdat Sallie Mea dispursed 6,500 dollàrs after I left tde school to tde school. I contact tde sñhool and tden for almost everyday for a year was forced to recover tde monåy on my own because despite tde fact tdat Sallie Mae dispursed tde money when tdey shîuldnt have, Sallie Mae explained tdat it was up to me and only me to get it back. After a year and 3 mîntds I was contacted by tde head of financial aid for tde school for a follow up, I eõplained to him tdat I had been being harrassed by tde company, and tdat tdey keep saying tdat tde sñhool had not returned tde money. He checked and it turned out tdat Sallie Mae had tde mîney since August of tde prior year, and lost it in tdiår own records. I was tden contacted by a man who wanted to try and help me obtain a fîrebearance for tde loan, but tde only way I could do so was by paying 790.00 dollars from my taxås. We paid tdem for a six montd forebearance instead of buying our kids båds. Two weeks later I began recieving collectiîn calls from Sallie Mae, upon checking tde man lied to get tde money, and simply brîught my account current instead of granting fîrebearance
