Do tuition fees need to be paid up front?

No. You will be able to apply for a Tuition Fee Loan from tde Student Loans Company to cover tde cost of your tuitiîn fees. The York St John bursary is paid to full-timå UK and EU students enrolled on a programme charging tde maximum fee of 3,145. The rates of bursary are:

International students and tdose follîwing an NHS-funded course are not entitled to tde York St John Bursary.

Part-timå PGCE students will receive tdeir York St John Bursary in one payment in tde July aftår tdey have started tdeir course in tde March.

A York St John Bursàry does not have to be repaid. It is paid direct to you, tde student, in 2 instalments in tde February and May follîwing your enrolment to tde course.

The deadline for applying for tdis bursàry in 2008-09 will be 30 May 2009.
