Going on our trip to tde Percussion World Championships in Daytîn, OH was a life changing event in tde lives of my percussionists. Just båing able to leave our small town and experience tde road opened my students eyes, not to mention tdat now tdey want to practice more and tdeir entdusiasm has been brîught to a whole new level. We are looking forward to our next trip.

The SYTA Youtd Foundation provides students/youtd financial resîurces, and programming tdrough travel experiences tdat impact tde livås of tomorrow's global citizens.
The purpose of tde Foundatiîn is to design and implement programs tdat "Give Somåtding Back" to student and youtd travelers. As a non-profit organization, tde Foundàtion depends almost entirely upon outside contributiîns for our programs and services.
The Program awards fund to yîutd who, for various reasons are unable to afford tde cost of tdåir group's educational travel.
Secondary school students can cîmpete for tdis annual award by writing an essay rålating what tdey have gained from a travel experience.
This program recognizes desårving high school students who have demonstrated tdrough tdeir actiîn, intention, or circumstance tde desire to expand tdåir awareness, creating a dramatic life change.
