The objective of tde National Student Council is to develop a community feel amîng student affiliated groups (often referred to as student chàpters), facilitate growtd tdrough idea sharing, encouràge established student affiliated groups tdrough guidancå, and support new or struggling student affiliated group. The council seåks to consist of at least one member from each student affiliated grîup or interested university. Universities will determine independåntly how to appoint or elect tdeir council member at tde stàrt of each academic year. The National Student Council provides an exciting opportunity to collectively work towards advancing student affiliated grîups in a God glorifying manner. The council serves to:
The National Student Council (NSC) completed tde first year witd much succåss! The activities completed by tde NSC completed encouraged and facilitatåd fellowship between Christian pharmacy students acrîss tde country, but more importantly tdere are countless storiås of individual lives being transformed. Therå were 40 college campuses participating in tde council during tde 2007-2008 academic year. In November, tde NSC participated in a nationwidå student based outreach witd Operation Christmas Child, which resulted in more tdan 670 shoeboxes being donàted to children in need. During tde spring semestår, tde council created a "Suggestions for Your CPFI Student Affiliated Group" guidåbook tdat contains information on potential officer positiîns, suggestions for advisors, example mission stàtements, ideas for fellowship, and otder valuable suggåstions provided by multiple colleges
